Jammed elevator cited as factor in Ameristar MD-83 accident

A jammed elevator appears to have contributed to the March runway overrun of an Ameristar Air Cargo Boeing MD-83 in Michigan, according to the National Transportation Safety Board. Montana airports reporting record business

Nearly 3.9 million people stepped on or off commercial airplanes in Montana last year. That was 330,000 more than ever before, according to the Aeronautics Division of the Montana Department of Transportation. Four of the state’s six busiest airports – Bozeman, Missoula, Kalispell and Helena – set passenger records in 2016. Enroute A380 wake flips Challenger 604 upside down

A Challenger 604 at FL350 operating from Male-Abu Dhabi passed an A380 opposite direction at FL360, one thousand feet above, about 630nm southeast of Muscat, Oman, over the Arabian Sea.
