F-16 Crashes at Sioux Falls Regional

At 2:43 p.m. Wednesday, one of the F-16’s with the 114th Fighter Wing in Sioux Falls slid off one of the runways at the Regional Airport, according to Captain Jessica Bak, Public Affairs Officer with the South Dakota Air National Guard. (www.keloland.com) Más...

Excursion it might have been, but when structural damage beyond the landing gear occurs, I would Classify it as a crash. As of 1600 local time Thursday, the aircraft was still where it ended up and Runway 15/33 at FSD was secured for Flight Operations during the investigation
