If that regulator was doing his job properly 346 people would be alive today if they had caught the problem.

True. The groundings are costing Boeing quite a lot of money. It's 8 Billion US$.

In Canada, that is around 10-11 Billion.

Somewhat agree. However, they found it "after" the first crash. Therefore it would not have been 346 lives saved.

After the first crash? It took them two crashes to find the problem on the MAX!

Did Boeing even teach these pilots how to use MCAS?!
