Airbus warns the UK about the severe consequences of "Hard Brexit"
London - Airbus is sharpening its criticism of the British government's Brexit policy. The cabinet of Prime Minister Theresa May has no idea, and no agreement on how they can implement the Brexit without serious damage said Airbus CEO Tom Enders on Friday, July 6 in front of journalists in London. unless brexit entails airbus forgetting how to build airplanes, unable to finance them, then what is Ceo enders babbling about?. There will be markets to satisfy by providing aircraft, servicing, financing, no matter the politics and tariff policies, so we must sit back and wait for the British government to figure out the least-worst choice and swallow it.
Playing politics. Airbus cannot relocate its factories on short notice and still employ trained workers familiar with the processes. Many are already maxed out now and Airbus wants to increase production which gives two options, new factories or expansion of existing ones. The entire Airbus production plan goes out the door if they cannot deliver parts on demand.
