Ryanair Agrees to Meet With Cabin Crew Unions

Cabin crew are just bodies? LoL, I see what could possibly be a joke and snide remark about we flight attendants. Just like back in BASIC military training, we're already trained to be expendable. All kidding aside, I wish them well. My union didn't amount to much for my airline. Then again, I had no use for it. I came to work, gave my 110%, enjoyed every minute of flying with my pax and my pilots. That said, I can say a union is ideal for that type of skilled labor. There are a lot of rules and regulations which need to be followed on the job and if not protected, one little screw up can, well screw you. Just what I didn't like was being in a Union who had no real vested interest with us. There are two sides to right to work and union. After having to resign from flying (I couldn't leave my wife with our toddler and infant for six days out of the week). I worked for an aircraft parts supplier for a few years and a bunch of us got fired, my boss included for not following onto a business deal we had not yet received license to. As Georgia is a right to work state, our sales manager, warehouse manager (my boss), the HR lady, me, and a buddy of mine got fired. Better to get fired than paying a huge fine and or spending a year in jail. Where was the GA Department of Labor? "Your word against his. Take your chances who you choose to hire you." Really?
