Not bad Norwegian to do it with the Max edition, but Westjet has been hopping a 737 across the Atlantic for a couple years now.

I was under the impression it would have a different aircraft designation... 73M was my assumption but I was clearly wrong

Unfortunately, and until their list is revised, 73M is the designation of 737-200 Combi.
To have IACO keep same classification name as NG737, I think may lead to screw-ups but that's my opinion.

IACO doesn't even have anything yet... there's a reference to the 8 and 9 Max's as BBJ and they're just B738 and B739's...

IS the B737 Max comparable in size (capacity) to the great B757-200? Just wondering......

I'm keen to see whether Norwegian can accomplish their promised Cork-Newburgh flight. I think it is right on the bubble of having long enough legs westbound with seats full.

THey are already doing EDI to SWF which is 5186 km...ORK to SWF is only 4974.
