Windowless Plane Would Let Passengers See World Around Them
If a window seat is enough to make you nervous on a flight, you might want to avoid a new kind of plane that could fly in as soon as a decade. UK-based tech innovation company Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) hopes to be among the first to design a windowless aircraft. Instead of windows, the plane would have high-definition, flexible screens to show what's happening outside, as it soars through the air. (mashable.com) Más...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
Oy vey...so benadryl AND a blindfold! Actually, I'm a much better passenger than I used to be. I can actually get up and go to the bathroom without freaking out. However, I have reached a point where I am less afraid of flying than I am of potential crazy people on the plane. I always go for the exit row, because I know I'm not going to open the door. Anyway, this is a very cool idea and I may work my way up to that experience...in a decade.
Kim, you really can relax a little when flying since most of us old geezers in the front don't really like traveling any more but we maintain a very strong self preservation instinct and I think the accident stats. bear me out on this one. And most of the truly crazy people in this country are in Washington D.C. Don't go there!
Oh, I've always held the belief that pilots are just as interested in not crashing as I am. DC...true that!
