Southwest to begin flying AirTran routes to Mexico
Southwest Airlines will begin flights to Mexico as part of its integration of AirTran Airways operations. The flights, now flown by AirTran, will start on Aug. 10 with daily nonstop service between Cancun and Atlanta and Baltimore. It will also operate daily flights between Los Cabos and Orange County, Calif. The Dallas-based carrier also announced Saturday-only flights between Cancun and Milwaukee and the Bahamas and Atlanta. Southwest to Expand Service to Mexico, Bahamas
Southwest Airlines announced it will launch service to both the Pacific and Caribbean coasts of Mexico later this year. In addition, the carrier said it will begin offering new flights to the Bahamas in August.
