FedEx Donates Plane to City of Albuquerque

It is nice they do so. I suppose that is one advantage of the US having the world's highest corporate tax rate in that FedEx probably get as much in tax write offs as they would get selling the aircraft with as many cycles on it as most likely has. The communities and colleges receiving the donations certainly seem to appreciate the gesture in a manner that advertising cannot buy.

A tax write-off is better for FedEx than parking the obsolete aircraft in the boneyard. Still a great gesture. I wish that all the carriers would do likewise. I'm sure that the colleges and museums can find a place for all of the obsolete crates.

It's a win win deal (except for IRS). Lol

KBUF has one also, it's parked where everyone can see it...great advertising for FedEx. I miss seeing those 3 engine T-tails.
