Aviation program taking students to new heights

Enviado

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — In the last few years, the aviation industry has struggled finding workers. The Aviation Program at Sinclair Community College is helping fast-track students with real-world training and getting them into the pilot seat faster to help meet the increasing demand. Sanjing Yin is a non-traditional student with English as her second language. The single mom of two is in her second year at Sinclair. After spending time in the sky as a flight attendant for Delta since 2018, she… (www.wdtn.com) Más...

I am Sanjing Yin's Multi-Engine Instructor at Sinclair, she is almost ready for her check-ride I have never in my 40 plus years as an instructor had a more dedicated, harder working student.

Sounds like Sanjing Yin is an example of some one pursuing the American Dream. I hope she becomes a great pilot who flies the plane to a safe landing every time. Then in 30years she can comment with knowledge and experience on some of the stupid stuff that gets posted here.

It states in the article "The single mom of two is in her second year at Sinclair."
Why do authors always denigrate women in this way? So she slept with a loser guy, had unprotected sex and will give her child a daddyless life. Yes, we all know women are the only ones who choose the babies father and must choose wisely but seem to rarely do that these days. But is it really necessary to call them out on that horrible decision all the time?

You are bravely pointing out a 400 pound elephant, but our society is alergic to any opinion which uphold the values that served mankind so well for so long. Stand by for derision and disgust from the immoral majority.

Dear Sanctimonious: Maybe she's a widow. Ever think of that before you get on your high horse?
GeekyFlygirl
They would have said "widow" because they always go for the gusto in headlines. Whoever wrote the headline probably doesn't even know.

Call them out ? How is this calling them out ? It's a fact. WHen I read this I have even more appreciation for this person to do this while taking care of kids at the same time.
You must be a person who likes to rewrite history.

A single mother can also be a widow. Ever thought of that? Nothing detracts from the efforts one makes a mother, regardless of personal circumstances.

A single mother can be a sperm bank recipient as well I suppose.

Denigrate? You might be the only one with this narrow minded view of single parenthood. Most articles I read where the subject person is a single parent points to the extra work load they carry and not how stupid they are to pick maybe someone who died? Maybe? Please don't jump to conclusions not written. Single parenthood comes in both genders for more then one reason.

Someone who actually wants to work and earn a living. Unlike the snowflakes sitting in moms basement expecting more handouts from creepy joe.
