Frontier Airlines Cuts a Whopping 43 Seasonal Routes
Forty-three seasonal routes for Frontier have been cut from their network. All were seasonal and planned to be resumed starting in November 2022, but now will not see a resumption in service. There were 32 domestic and 11 international routes cut; most domestic routes were based out of Florida, and all international routes were to serve Cancun. i do not know if frontier is now in a battle for survival, having finished second in the spirit sweepstakes. I think they may well be, for the combined jet blue/spirit entity has the planes and capital to out-schedule frontier and outmarket them too. I liked Frontier before they morphed into a ULCC, their service used to be fine, planes clean, and crews cheerful. Being a ULCC has altered them not so well. Tough gutter to work from, to live in, to populate..
