Step By Step: Training Top Gun's Actors To Perform In F-18s
The movie Top Gun: Maverick presented a somewhat unique challenge when it came to shooting the film. Actors and actresses are used to acting on the ground, moving at a steady pace, if at all. Sitting them in a military jet that can go supersonic poses its own challenges. Good Article, I am surprised the Producers went to such great lengths... Impressive.
Having had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Kevin and his crew over the course of filming another series, I was not surprised to learn of the depth and professionalism or training committed to the flying sequences in the film. Kudos to Kevin and his crew.
Saw the movie and with 22 yrs in the Navy, a flight instructor, and visiting North Island,, it brought back memories. Great film !!!
