i remember the first 747 i saw take off and it was impressive at the time (pan am)..several years later i saw the double decker airbus taking off and i was amazed it could get off the ground!the 747 are still in use mostly for cargo,but i had read the large airbus would no longer be made or ordered a couple of years ago..you never know when "everything old is new again"..!
