Akron-Canton Airport has financial support in bid to bring back airlines

With local matching dollars in place, Akron-Canton Airport is taking the next step toward reviving commercial airline service. The coronavirus pandemic brought air travel to a standstill earlier in the year. At one point, the airport handled only three flights and about 100 passengers per day.
