Pilot injured when flight control become stuck

She probably had her big purse (or something else) in the back seat and it jammed the rear control stick? I actually had my briefcase fall forward on the rear seat in a cub and the control movement was restricted in bank and pitch until I reached back and moved my case.
Agreed. She probably had too much material on board that could have rendered this a fatal accident. I find that some General Aviation Enthusiasts do not follow the manufacturers recommended maximum weight allowed on board. That why fifty pounds could kill you instead of being efficient. I believe that is why there aware so many accidents in Canada's North. Plus there are a lot of operators looking to make a fast buck. That's what's killing so many pilots in the arctic. Rescue services are few and far between.
