The private pilot of the Tri-Pacer and his pilot-rated passenger sustained serious injuries. The private pilot of the Arrow sustained serious injuries. Tragically, his 20-month-old son sustained fatal injuries. The child was secured in a CARES child restraint. (www.youtube.com) Más...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
oh my..watching that video is hard..such beautiful surroundings for such a sad event..hopefully those injured will recover, and sympathy to the family for the loss of a baby...
If the Arrow was coming from behind at what seems to be a steep angle, its pilot must have been distracted looking around anywhere else except at the runway where he was to land on. Had he been loking straight forward he would have been able to see the Tripacer and take evasive action.
