Cracks found in shuttle fuel tank, not just foam

We were at Kennedy Space Center the entire week of Nov 1 waiting for Discovery to launch. While we were disappointed that the launch didn't happen, we wouldn't ever want a launch attempt that might be unsafe.
Good luck to the NASA folks getting Discovery ready for her farewell voyage; I hope we can be there when those main engines start up for the last time.

Their relativily new safety program has worked well for them. I'm thankful they discovered the cracks before another catastrophe occured. Well done NASA.
