Darn, you beat me to the posting! Anyway, it is only a matter of time and it will happen sooner than later. The job opportunity of the future will be as a pilot monitor trained only in abnormal and emergency procedures because that is the only time you will get to touch the controls. Ultimately, as in the X-37B, the cockpit will be designed out of the aircraft.
