"Short Final" -Story

We were inbound to Auckland after a long 12-hour Pacific sector through the night. It was around 5:00am, and there were four other wide-body inbounds (787s, 767s, and 777s) arriving about the same time. There are probably many more out there including myself that are saying "I still don't get it". I will be like the kid in class that stands up and says "Can you explain that again" while the rest of the class looks relieved thinking they are not the only dumb ones that didn't get it.

After thinking about it in musical terms, four times "niner" has eight beats. This corresponds to the four beats of "duh-duh" in the batman tune which end with the word Batman. WOW, way too much thinking for a Saturday morning.

Guys must of bought his kids batman videos he has to hear more than wanted. Friend was all strange after the only show that quieted his little boy was teletubbies. Yah the controller must of flashed on the batman tune in remorse and didn't want to hear anymore of it.

The song nots sound more like "nunna nunna nunna nunna BATMAN." Replace the "nunna" with a slurrred niner and you get "IT!"
