UA 767 Bird Strike leaving IAH prompts return

5:40 p.m. A United 767 passenger jet struck a bird in flight and sustained damage that requires the pilot to return to Intercontinental Airport in Houston. The pilot is forced to lighten the weight of the aircraft by dumping fuel. This is occurring over Lake Conroe. The tower is expecting the plane to be able to return safely to the airport and land.
