Plane engine catches fire during maintenance at Ted Stevens Airport

ANCHORAGE - A Boeing 747’s engine caught fire while technicians were performing maintenance on the aircraft at Ted Stevens International Airport Friday night. According to shift commander Lieutenant Gary Delk, the large cargo plane landed in Anchorage several days ago and has since had its number four engine replaced. Starting a gas turbine is the hardest part of operation. Back in the day, before digital controllers and advanced aerodynamics, start-up was always a 'cross-your-fingers' deal.
Here, it sounds to me like maybe the fuel scheduling was faulty.
