The 10 Worst Airline Fees
Between the cramped seats and unappetizing food most travelers are doomed to in economy class, plane travel can already be pretty unpleasant. That unpleasantness is only compounded by the airline fees that keep climbing year after year, adding unexpected expenses on top of already pricey tickets. These fees are pretty hefty and unfair, although I would still do anything to have the best views on the planet.
I agree the fees are sometimes pretty hefty (although I'd glay pay $200 to have my dog with me in the cabin!). The great thing is that pax can still CHOOSE which carrier they will fly with. If you choose one of the legacy airlines, I find you usually get looked after very well without many of these additional fees.
