Density altitude

Although the NTSB hasn't determined the cause yet, it appears density altitude caused another fatal crash at Lake Tahoe today. Always check weight & balance and DENSITY ALTITUDE before departing a high altitude airport. The combination of high temperatures & high altitude turn many 4 seat aircraft into 2 passenger aircraft. The prop doesn't appear to be bent, I wonder if the engine was turning at impact. Maybe this wasn't Density Altitude?
