The first part says he took off on foot to a motel, the second part says the dogs are looking to find out where he went. What a bunch of turds!!!

Closed runway? Does the runway close if the tower does? Not a pilot, but I thought the runway just became an uncontrolled one. Stuck vehicle, middle of the night, nothing to do till morning? Sleep on it. Deal with it in the morning. Been there, done that. No T-shirt involved.

Don't know if Purdue actually has a closed runway ( too lazy to look it up) but if you have engine trouble at nite you probably don't care. Now if they are referring to the runway being closed because the tower was closed I'm surprised they didn't call it a Piper Cub. Lol
