CV-22 Osprey Pre-Flight, Take-Off and Landing

I dig that OV22 Osprey. Maybe the BA609 will be certified someday and I can get a ride.

Never understood how silly this strange concoction or hybird if you will, a cross-breed of fixed/rotary aircraft which has all the shortcomings of both and the virtues of none was ever designed and built. No wonder that after some 20 years from inception the Marines and Air Force are still struggling with its development. And last but not least, it started at a unitary cost of around $ 60 million and guess what, it now costs THREE TIMES as much. So much for the inefficient DOD purchasing of anything from tooth picks all the way to nuclear subs.
