Small plane crashes near KPDK airport
A small plane crashed Monday night near DeKalb-Peachtree Airport. The incident happened around 7:45 p.m., Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said. The plane was en route to the northeast Atlanta air field from Hilton Head, S.C., when it lost power and went down two miles southeast of the airport, she said. There is no word yet on injuries. According to FAA records, the plane is a single-engine Cessna built in 1965. Please return for updates. (www.ajc.com) Más...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
Why does NTSB need to search for clues to the crash? One of the occupants said in the article that they ran out of gas. Save the tax dollars to reconstruct the flight. In the end, NTSB will rule "fuel starvation" as the cause. Duh!
