Delta to Pay Business Fliers if it's later than American & United
Basking in an on-time rate that beats rivals, Delta Air Lines Inc. promises to pay up if it can’t get road warriors to their destinations more reliably than American and United. Ha Ha are they for real or what? Or is it a publicity stunt or promo??
I think it will be more lip service than anything. People these days make a deal out of separating the regionals when it is convenient, BUT, if they have my name on the side, they must be accountable to my rules, otherwise they are just a connection. All that said, OT is considered 15 minutes either way. If bunching is truly put back in effect, a connection can really be a chore. When ATL or DFW is running good, you can't beat it, but when they are off kilter, you don't want to be anywhere around.
