New U.S. budget carrier Moxy confirms the order for 60 Airbus A220-300
Mobile - The new U.S. budget startup Moxy Airlines has placed a firm order for 60 A220-300 aircraft. Founded in June 2018, Moxy Airlines is a new airline led by David Neeleman, who previously co-founded Morris Air, WestJet, JetBlue, and Azul Linhas Aereas. The new low-cost airline was announced at the Farnborough International Air Show in July. (airlinerwatch.com) Más...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
With a name la this, it better be a good airline.
Good luck getting pilots.
Care to elaborate?
Oh David, David, the incorregible airline-after-airline-after-airline founder. When he sold out Morris Air to Southwest, Herbert Kelleher (who by coincidence just passed away (RIP) yesterday), kept David at SWA just for just five months as he could not stomach David's impossible hell-bent fixation to found a new airline every a few years.
There's been a Moxy Hotel by Marriott since 2014, I wonder how long that name will stand... kind of like JetBlue was to be called "Taxi" once upon a time....
Horrible Hotel, at least the one in Milan
Heard of the hotel, not the airline. Maybe they could try "Southeast" for a name next. LOL
