Virgin Atlantic Pilots Call For Strike During Christmas/New Year Holidays
Virgin Atlantic pilots in the Professional Pilots Union (PPU) have balloted for strike action. Up to 400 out of the 965 pilots will be striking over the airline's refusal to include them in talks over pay and benefits changes. The PPU will plan up to three lots of four-day strikes to take place over the Christmas and New Year holiday—that is from December 22 to 25, from December 30 to January 2, as well as from January 4 to 7. SABENA flight crews used to do this trick with regularity. Travelers avoided SABENA. SABENA tanked. Not just for that reason, but minimal passenger revenue didn't help save the sinking ship. Air France is next.....
These sound just like teachers, when the kids are supposed to start school they go out on strike. Pilots and attendants go out during holidays causing problems for those who are trying to travel. No skin off of there noses but the public looses.
You understand NOTHING about how a strike works.
Which part of VA owners are the troublemakers, Delta or Air France, one thing is certain, Branson doesn't get a say!
