American Airlines completes repainting of nearly 1,000 aircraft
In January 2013, American Airlines unveiled its new visual identity with a new logo and a new livery. The company's first aircraft with the new livery, a Boeing 777-300ER, made its debut on January 31st. (airlinerwatch.com) Más...I cannot help but think the eagle logo looks like a Greyhound. And who wants to be associated with THAT image?
While I don't like the tail, I like the rest, overall. The tails have been grey for a long time. Why couldn't they have left the AA Eagle in place on the vertical stabilizer where it was?
Fugly, just Fugly...
Even if they had to tweek their logo, they should have painted the 787 with a metallic silver paint and kept polishing the legacy planes.
