Why your flight is about to become MUCH bumpier
Air travel is likely to get a lot bumpier because of climate change, a new study suggests. Turbulence strong enough to bounce unbuckled passengers around an aircraft cabin could become three times more common as carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere rise, experts predict. What bunch of BS fed to us by the "settled science experts" about "Climate Change" (remember when it was Global Warming????) no doubt looking for more "funding" for research. A slight increase of % of a trace gas will have no effect on anything. Furthermore, CAT is not rising air, it is air moving at different speeds and directions at various altitudes.
Where did the article say CAT was rising air?
The closest I could find in the article was
"The scientists looked at the impact of stronger “wind shear”, a major cause of turbulence, on winter-time transatlantic flights. Wind shear refers to vertical or horizontal changes in wind speed and/or direction over a short distance."
What did I miss?
