I agree completely, Mr. Colvin - well...with this qualification. Clearly, our general officers know exactly what they are doing - they simply have their own reality.

As most everyone knows in here, the A-10 program has to go - it is simply too efficient, too cost-effective - dosnt consume enough public funding.

The more public money that can be consumed by, well...for example, the F35 program, the faster the money can be made. All one has to do, to figure this all out, is to watch the flow of money.

The last thing these folks could give a damn about, are the "grunts" on the ground who need air support.

I wonder what the stall speed of the F-35 is ? Would I be correct in my belief that it is a wee bit higher than the A-10, and thus not quite as effective as a support vehicle?
