FAA says FBI asked plane not to fly over Pebble Beach

MONTEREY - The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed Friday that the FBI did contact the control tower at Monterey Peninsula Airport on Sunday because it was concerned about a plane towing a banner above the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach. (www.mercurynews.com) Más...

The people at Pebble most likely, just made a call to the local FBI office and nothing more .. My bet is the FBI was sitting in their offices when they called the tower. (KMRY).

So, an FBI agent is at the golf tournament? On official business? Or in a floppy hat and madras shorts, being a Tiger Woods fan? And just happens to decide he will harass a banner tow aircraft?
