Mystery surrounds futuristic craft seen on property of aerospace manufacturer
Palm Beach County is a long way from Area 51. But a satellite photograph, apparently taken by Google Earth’s mapping project, seems to show a high-tech airplane or spacecraft at Pratt and Whitney's airfield off the Beeline Highway. (www.sun-sentinel.com) Más...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
I know. there's just a similar site there.
The only things that look strange around that airport are what appears to be a training pod or some type of machinery down the road and what appears to be a rocket engine just adjacent to the runway. Being that it is the location for Aerojet Rocketdyne and Sikorsky either of those options are possible.
the site in California is in Helendale, and is called the Lockheed Martin Radar Cross section facility.
They are talking about Florida not California. They said off the Beeline highway in Palm Beach Florida, not Helendale California
I checked out the Image and what this looks like is a radar testing area. it is on an old runway with metal posts at certain distances. there is one somewhere in California owned by Lockheed/martin. they are used for radar signature testing, electromagnetic testing, and stuff like that. I think it might be just a mock up.
Also they are talking about Florida not California. They said off the Beeline highway in Palm Beach Florida, not Helendale California.
Any strange looking aircraft is likely to cause hype.
