How to Refurbish a Boeing 747-400?
In just over a month, Lufthansa Technik staff will strip a Boeing 747-400 down to its bones, and build it up again. Here's how it's done. (airwaysnews.com) Más... At least with the mechanic's actually working for Lufthansa they will do an excellent overhaul unlike to many of those "off shore" or "out sourced" maintenance outfits often found in war torn nations.
The airlines that stoop so low as to trust the maintenance of their fleets to 3rd world nations do so ONLY to save money that usually goes directly to the CEO's pockets and a few of the CEO's henchmen. One of those airlines is right here in the USA and is among the THREE largest airlines in the world.
This airline could care less about it's customers, MONEY is the only thing this airline cares about. Money that goes into the CEO's pocket.
