BA passenger jet makes emergency landing after both pilots 'pass out' at the controls
A British Airways jet was forced to make an emergency landing after both pilots almost 'passed out' at the controls. The Captain and first officer both reported feeling light headed as the aircraft, which had taken off from Heathrow, was climbing at 20,000 feet. As the drama unfolded passengers heard a 'panicked' captain call for a senior member of the cabin crew to come to their aid. (www.dailymail.co.uk) Más...Hopefully we will see an investigation outcome as there are really only two reasonable possibilities...toxic inhalant or pressure loss. Most of the former are readily detected by odor excluding CO, CO2s or Nitrogen. Nitrogen derivatives (electric arc smells) are characteristic although N2O might not be detected. Pressure loss should have been noted by all passengers as well.
The difficulty will be if they find nothing and are left to suspect a "sympathetic" reaction from one pilot to the other...hard to prove and a bad label to carry. This is the same reaction as having someone in the back puke and ten more quickly follow suit from the smell/sound of someone hurling their cookies.

Right, as opposed to the author of the article, who was panicking as much as possible.
