This article is the first I've ever heard that MCAS was "asking too much of the outdated computers" on board... Is there any corroboration for this claim? I might not be up to date on the investigation but everything I've read said MCAS intervened the way it did because of an erroneous reading from the AOA indicator.
Can't help wondering what the same level of scrutiny of other a/c types would yield.
