Air Canada thrilled with Rouge, mulls expansion
Air Canada is so impressed with Rouge that it is considering expanding the discount leisure unit. Since Air Canada launched the division in July of 2013, Rouge has grown to 44 aircraft, with another five planes slated to join the fleet next year. Was subjected to Rouge twice. Terrible!! The marketing people should try it before they say it's so great .. .. ..
They could learn a whole lot about customer service! Rude employees (often a symptom of the staff above them), aging aircraft (2 broken planes resulting in the entire plane full of people being inconvenienced with an unexpected over night stay in Toronto) and a chaotic show when trying to accommodate everyone with hotels. Locals in Glasgow say delayed and cancelled flights a regular occurrence with this airline. I say "don't bother" to expand!
Old aircraft and tight seats! Pack them in and feed them peanuts!! Do a real customer survey and then post the real results! Not the opinions of your marketing people!
Its hilarious that the public still thinks Air Canada is government owned. The government privatized the company in 1989 . JUst look it up.
But I agree with you Rouge sucks

The comments are hilarious. Given that it's a roaring success, it seems a great many consumers disagree with your criticism and whining. I know it's painful for some to see AC actually succeeding and making a profit, but I for one applaud them for achieving that. There aren't very many former government owned airlines that have succeeded in making that transition - and no, I am not an AC employee.
While Air Canada may be pleased they should ask the passengers what they think.
