Now that is some memorabilia. Cool photo Kent.
Wonder if the AC is still around in some dark hanger collecting dust?
Love it, brings back memories!
Trick Photography as no PhotoShop in those days.
Glad it's still in existence, maybe not flying.

The high-compression four-barrel 394 cu. in. 1964 Starfire produced 345 hp (257 kW) and 440 lb⋅ft (600 N⋅m) for the 1963-4 Starfire and 98 Custom-Sports Coupe. It was optional on 1964 98s and Super 88s.
I'll take the Olds, thanks.

I really don't think that the Olds engine is in the Cessna.
Looks like the airplane is still around but lacking the Olds motor.

Great bit of nostalgic advertising. I wonder how many calls the current owner of the airplane has received inquiring about the engine.
Nice. I wonder how noisy it was in flight?
I remember that Ad! No trick photo! The Super88-Olds Sedan is ripping along at (what else?) 88 MPH and the Skylane is floating along in ground effect at that speed as Cessna's do. Note: 10 degrees of flaps... All pre-arranged, no State Troopers were endangered by the "stunt".
Is that the same V-8 engine coincidently pictured inside the back cover of Feb 2021 EAA SportAviation magazine? Mounted backward and inverted?
