ZK-XXX — - An Air New Zealand DC-8 taking off towards the north and the airline’s flag. Photographed at Christchurch Airport in the late 1960s. It would have been heading, eventually, west over the Southern Alps of South Island, N.Z. and across the Tasman Sea to either Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane - Australia.
