Nothing like the sound of twin P&W radials thumping away with Standard props whistling in the wind...you can hear why the greatest generation was flying during the golden years of aviation. Sitting and talking with some of our WW2 vets about flying the best iron ever produced was time well spent, if you ever get the chance, do it, before they are all gone.
