Some further background info: the B-36J was built by Convair and known as the Peacemaker. This one is named the "City of Fort Worth." It was delivered to the USAF in 1954, but by 1959 it was transferred to the USAF Museum in Fort Worth, TX and put on static display. In 1992, it was moved to a Lockheed-Martin facility in Fort Worth for restoration, then loan transferred to the Pima Air and Space Museum in Tucson, AZ in 2005. (Serial Number: 52-2827) Its current markings are of the 95th Bomb Wing, Biggs AFB, El Paso, Texas. "The B-36 is the largest and the last piston engine powered bomber produced by the United States."
