Very interesting "conversion" here!

...Ooooooo....!
cougardad
the salt water is going to prematurely kill this conversion as turbines do not work in a salt water/air environment.

This is a modified version of a G21A Grumman Goose with prop-jet engines. This was the first aircraft that I ever flew on at age 3 in 1952 from W. Palm Bch., FL to Walker Cay, Bahamas. I fell in love with airplanes!!

Beautiful airplane, and a great photo. A lot of work for both!

Flying again after a complete (and I mean a COMPLETE tear down and rebuild from the shadow up inside & out). Showing up for the first time at the Otsego Splash-In. The lake is fresh water, no salt and if he operates in salt water the engines can be flushed with fresh water later to flush out salt residue (I used to do this almost 50 years ago on another Turbine Goose in New Orleans). Nice image.
