Primo Q snap, Mark. Xcellent rotor capture. Next week, perhaps we can catch one (or more) of the Washoe County "Raven" helicopters. They are sharp-looking, too. And speaking of next week, long-range WX forecast for your visit calls for: high temp - 101, no clouds, 0% chance of precip, wildfire danger high. It will be a scorcher. Typical summer day in the Truckee Meadows. (Grin)

Thank you Gary! Thanks also for the WX forecast, I can't believe I'm saying it, but I'm glad to hear the temps will be that high as it's a small price to pay for not having any chance of clouds or rain which could keep me from getting up there.

This is a Eurocopter AS 350 B2. A 2004 model so it's before Airbus had an interest in the Eurocopter. A nice photo!

Go to the boxes below the pic and change the type. I had to change one of mine and it worked fine.

Patti- I did mean to type AS 350 in the description about, but I made another typo (I guess I was really tired that day when I uploaded it)... Thanks for the correction.

Roy- I have also been able to change some in the past like you have and I tried on this one right after uploading with no luck. It's weird, sometimes you can change it just fine, but a majority of the time you can't

The Airbus designation for the newer models is H-125. They standardized all rotary wing aircraft model numbers to start with "H". However I still consider these the AS-350, AStar or Ecureuil from habit and familiarity.
