Yeah! Why are they doing that? Now its a hybrid retro/modern livery. They cite customer confusion as one excuse! All that money to do it wrong!
The composite structures of the new NGs make polished paint schemes very difficult to do. That's why the new American scheme went painted, it saves them a lot of money in maintenance every year.
