1945 Consolidated PB4Y-2 Privateer N2871G
B24... well known here (close to my home) A crew crashed at night after a bomb mission over Germany in 44.. A Name of all these poor guy are engraved on a rock , I have a look at them very often..

@serge LOTH - Not a B24...notice the tail. Same manufacturer though, so you can see the similarities.

Crud... I've been spending days down there supporting the Test team "borrowing" the airport and never did get the chance to see (or HEAR!) it moving... oh well....
