Do you guys want to see more photos like this? Also if you have any suggestions on how to improve my photos, I'd really like to know.

I can't help you with photography, and I can speak only for myself, but I enjoy your photos from RDU. I especially like the FedEx colors here against that summer haze at RDU. That's a good-looking airplane, too.

Dwight, if I may. This is just my opinion, I'm no expert. Judging from the shadows under the aircraft, the sun is high and slightly to your left but it is also slightly in front of you. For that reason it may be shining a lot of extra light into your camera, what they call back lighting. Back lighting can be used to good effect sometimes but I'm guessing that's not what you're going for here. The bright light can cause lens flare and also make your photos look dull and soft. Too much back lighting will just make a silhouette of your subject. Always try to keep the sun behind you. This way your subject is brightly lit and gives your camera more areas of contrast to focus on. Many people don't realize how difficult aircraft photography can be! We have no control over light or the subject! Sometimes it's cruising by at 150 knots and we get one chance to capture the moment! On top of that we are limited to our vantage point. You seem to have a good spot there at Raleigh-Durham. Maybe try a different time of day like early morning or approaching sunset. The light at these times is especially pleasing and the air is usually much calmer too. Do you use any post processing software? Do you shoot Jpegs or RAW? Lightroom is a good software to use. It can't save a crappy shot but it can improve the crop, shadows and bring back details that might get lost in an underexposed shot etc.
Anyway, hope this helps! Never stop taking photos, practice, practice, practice...
Cheers,
Mark
