B-25 Mitchell
Great Shot!
One of my favorite warbirds. I read "30 Seconds Over Tokyo" as a kid after finding it in my grandmother's attic amongst other books my dad read as a kid, like "God is My Co-pilot" and "Fate is the Hunter". It still makes me tear up when I see one at an airshow.
Beautiful Warbird , In 1973 I met the pilot that made History with that B-25 ,
The famous Jimmy Doolittle at Travis AFB , shook his hand and said " Thank You Sir " .
As an Ex Vietnam Mission Briefer in 1963-1964 , the "Mission" is your duty and those Aviator's did their job.
God Bless them all.

I drove golf carts to pick up handicapped people for the Blue Angels at NKT. One of my first pickups was a B-25 instructor before WWII. I drove him to the B-25 that was setting up to do a demostration. His Wife told me that the Army would not allow him to go into combat. He reamained an instructor throughout the war. I will never forget his reaction when he saw that B-25. That was several years ago.
