Such a beautiful aircraft. Always has been one of my favorites. Great picture!
It would look a lot better in the original NATO paint scheme of the RCAF No. 1 Air Division. US viewers will have to make do with aluminum siding in tornado season from the 1960's if they wish to see an actual USAF F-86E in flight.
stjohnsguy... Au contraire, this pretty F-86 Sabrejet was built by North American and is an F model. Joe Baugher's published information and Warbird Heritage Foundation's site state this F-86F-30-NA was built as USAF s/n 52-4986, c/n 191-682. I don't believe it served with the Canadian Air Force and Mr. Baugher shows it transferring to Argentina in August of 1960.
Of course, you might have just been saying it would simply look better in the RCAF livery... and if so, my apology is offered. I am, however, well familiar with storm tossed aluminum siding and tornado season!
