Cessna Skyhawk (N10446)
Great Basin Aviation's Cessna C-172 (N10446) is off 16L and on the climb as a student pilot begins a lesson.

Every once in a while, I luck out and get a capture of a Great Basin Cessna on an option s/final to 16L with a UPS or FDX heavy on approach to the parallel 16R. I've heard the tower remind the Cessna occupants that there is a big bird coming so they need to either land first or go around because of the wake turbulence. I've NEVER heard the tower warn the heavy about wake turbulence from the Cessna. (Grin)
Gary... *F*I*V*E* stars for the photo capture and your comments!!! :-)
I would turned left right at you...............see you hop skip over those rattlesnakes.... LOL! 5x
Cliff .... Howdy and TY, my friend. T .... This was clicked from the control tower, not Rattlesnake. The snakes are definitely out & about now. I've encountered them on previous hikes up to the top of the Snake; I've no desire to push my luck so I don't go up there from April to late August - early September. Snapping from the Control Tower is waaaay safer. (grin)
I did not know they built a new control tower at RNO off S Rock Blvd. I am properly "torched"! :)
